Pricing Policy

All prices shown on this website are in £ (GBP) Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up to date and accurate. However, we accept no liability for any errors and omissions and the final price of goods is the price in force at the time of us accepting your order. If a product has been listed at a lower price due to an error and you have ordered that product, then we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it.

Order Cancellations

If we have not despatched your order then you are free to cancel it at anytime. If you cancel your order after we have dispatched it then you must return the goods to us (see 'Returns' below). To cancel your order please contact us using one of the methods below.


The Urban Craftsman aim to deliver all items within 10 working days of receiving a confirmed order. However delivery may take longer for bespoke items and commissions. If we estimate that delivery will take longer than 10 working days then we will contact you with an estimated delivery date. If you require delivery by a specific date (e.g for a birthday present) then please contact us prior to ordering so we can agree delivery timescales.

All items will be despatched using DHL or other specialist couriers. All orders are insured whilst in transit.

All deliveries require a signature. Note: Most couriers will only re-attempt a failed delivery once, before expecting you to visit their depot yourself, or returning the item to us. If this happens, please let us know as it helps us speed up the re-delivery to you. Unfortunately, if there are any charges from the courier for third or subsequent attempts at delivery, we will have to pass these on to you.

If for any reason you are unhappy with the end result, or anything related to your purchase, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days starting from the day after the goods have been received, under the Distance Selling Regulations Act 2000.

If you decide that you do not want your purchase, you can return it in its original packaging (for protection) providing it's not a bespoke/custom piece (see below). On receipt of your order (in good, re-saleable condition) we will refund the full amount minus the original cost of delivery. Credit for cancelled/returned items will be made by the original payment method within 14 days of receipt.

You should contact us by email to arrange the return of your order. You must notify us, then return the order at your own expense by recorded and insured delivery within 10 days from your notice.

We cannot accept items for a refund or exchange if they have been damaged after delivery.

Bespoke/custom items and commissions manufactured and customised to customer requirements cannot be returned unless damaged or faulty.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk

Damaged Goods

Please do not sign for your goods until you have physically checked them and are satisfied that they are in perfect condition. If goods arrive damaged please sign the delivery note "item damaged". Then contact us within 7 working days. We will send you a returns note to complete and arrange free collection. Replacements for damaged goods will be despatched as quickly as possible.

Colour and Image Accuracy Statement

We try to ensure that the colours and images you see are as close as possible to the actual printed product. Unfortunately however we can not guarantee an exact colour match as onscreen colours and pictures will vary depending on your PC monitor settings, quality and resolution. Also the actual image displayed on products may vary slightly depending upon the size ordered, this is due to the scaling of the designs and the relative proportion of the product face area respective to depth. Again if you require any further information before ordering, then please 'contact us'.

Privacy Policy

Your personal information will be kept strictly confidential. It is never sold, given away or shared with anyone*. We may occasionally email you with news, decorating advice and special offers that we feel may be of interest to you as a customer of Opix. You will always have the option to unsubscribe yourself from our mailing list on the emails you receive.

* Please note that we may use submitted images, surnames and town details for advertising our works and projects undertaken. The first line, second line of address, post code and all other details will never be displayed or passed on. The image will also not be sold or used outside of the company. If you would prefer for us not to use these details in this way then just let us know and we will ensure they are not used and are removed.
